Egg Donation

At Rainbow Fertility, we are committed to helping individuals and couples achieve their dream of parenthood. Egg donation is a vital part of our comprehensive fertility services, offering hope and possibilities for those who need assistance in starting or growing their families.

What is Egg Donation?

Egg donation involves a healthy woman, known as the egg donor, providing her eggs to help another individual or couple conceive a child. This process is often used by women who cannot use their own eggs due to age, genetic conditions, or other fertility issues.

Why Choose Egg Donation?

  • High Success Rates: Egg donation significantly increases the chances of a successful pregnancy, especially for women with compromised egg quality or quantity.

  • Genetic Screening: Donor eggs undergo rigorous screening to ensure they are healthy and free from genetic disorders.

  • Personalized Matching: We carefully match donors with recipients to ensure the best possible compatibility and success rates.

If you are considering becoming an egg donor, your generosity can make a profound difference in someone’s life. Our team provides support and guidance throughout the process, ensuring a positive and rewarding experience.

  • Eligibility: Donors typically need to be healthy women between the ages of 20 and 27, with no significant genetic or medical issues.

The Egg Donation Process

  • Initial Consultation: Recipients meet with our fertility specialists to discuss their medical history, fertility goals, and the egg donation process.

  • Donor Selection: Recipients can choose an egg donor from our extensive database. Donors are thoroughly screened for health, genetic history, and compatibility.

  • Preparation: Both the donor and recipient undergo medical and psychological preparation. The recipient’s uterus is prepared for implantation, and the donor’s ovaries are stimulated to produce multiple eggs.

  • Egg Retrieval: The donor undergoes a minimally invasive procedure to retrieve the eggs, which are then fertilized with sperm in our laboratory.

  • Embryo Transfer: After fertilization, the healthiest embryos are selected and transferred to the recipient’s uterus.

  • Pregnancy Test: A few weeks after the transfer, a pregnancy test is conducted to confirm the success of the procedure.
